I had been using it before the DRAMA, and now it's even in Debian (and it keeps being developed).
To be honest, I'm glad that somebody else is doing the maintenance and dealing with the drama bits, because the program itself is pretty good.
I've seen that the website uses the same approach to pattern making, and I wonder if there is a way to convert between those formats, but yesterday evening I couldn't find anything about it.
I've made a list of all the #sewing projects I have in various stages of planning / making (and for which I already have fabric and most notions). It's 17 items long. no, wait, make it 18, but it didn't fit in the page. Plus at least four fixes to existing garments (probably more).
I need to stop starting new projects (yeah, right, like that's going to happen).

It is possible to select just one colour in the first screen, but if you do so, you get Uncaught Error: colorCount should be between 2 and 20. To get one color, call getColor() instead of getPalette() in the javascript console (followed by Uncaught TypeError: getColor is not a function
Using two colours work fine.

I remember that some time ago somebody mentioned a good (well maintained with modern extensions) #xmpp server that offered accounts for a small price (as opposed to free) and wasn't conversations.im, but I can't find which one it was.
I'm writing suggestions for new users, and I'd like to provide more than just one alternative.

For example, the jmp.chat gateway. Once a person has an account on some server and a client application, then jmp.chat/ gives xmpp phone numbers with standard telephony network connections for a small fee after a free demo period. They are a gateway for voicemail, texts, SIP and other media through xmpp, and committed to the GPL.

I've sent what I was writing, it went badly for reasons mostly unrelated to xmpp itself, but this time I'm going to save all those links in a place where I'm going to find them again the next time I need them.
Thanks to the sewing machine, advances in the quality of machine lace etc. shirtwaists in the most delicate & dainty materials can now be had for pretty cheap, but before buying them the prudent office girl should ask herself: can I afford their laundry costs?
(says the one who has just ironed and starched a few shirts, and even cheated a lot (steam iron, spray starch…), but it's HOT)

Un'agente dell'FBI porta a bordo di un aereo dei pinguini, senza sapere che il personaggio seduto a fianco a lui è un dirigente microsoft.
Quando, per una turbolenza, i pinguini scappano dalla stiva facendo irruzione tra i passeggeri, il dirigente entra in panico e dirotta l'aereo, minacciando i piloti e le hostess con una copia di windows vista premium, urlando "developers! developers! developers!"
Sarà compito di un ornitologo in pensione (S.L. Jackson) riportare la situazione alla calma, ritornando a un mestiere che aveva lasciato per colpa di una tragica vicenda.

I think to limit all those useful infos to just women (and specifically workwomen!) is a waste of knowledge…
the amount of *-ism in that book is just as can be expected from a book of the early 1800 that is meant to be used when teaching the poor so that they can become exploitable domestic workers.
But then, it was the early 1800s, it's not like one could expect anything better.
And for people who are interested in historical clothing, it's full of useful bits.

Poi “ci sono gli slot” non vuole necessariamente dire che siano la settimana dopo e non dopo tipo un mese.
Però insomma, non si è più in una fase in cui pensare di essere vaccinati è un sogno remoto.
A qualcuno in zona como / varese interessano due o tre forni solari a pannello di cartone e stagnola?
Li ho fatti per provare forme diverse e li ho usati per qualche mese, funzionano, ma nel frattempo me ne sono fatta uno di compensato per cui non li uso più e ho bisogno di liberare lo spazio.

Questo con una lente di Fresnel è meno "hi-tech", ma per me andrebbe già bene.

Uno dei posti da cui di tanto in tanto compro cose online sembra avere una sola misura di scatolone (enorme), da loro non riesco ad avere bisogno di così tante cose da riempirla, e di consequenza mi son trovata con un grosso sacchetto pieno di chip di mais da imballaggio, quelli che si attaccano assieme con l'acqua.
Ora, a parte farci modellini, che però non farò mai, e una volta fatti rimangono comunque ad occupare spazio in casa, c'è qualcosa di utile e pratico che ci si può fare?
L'alternativa è provare a sentire conoscenti di conoscenti se hanno bambini dell'età giusta per giocarci (ma tra i conoscenti non ce ne sono, che io sappia).

Light blue (with a purple tint) shirting that I bought a few years ago, so it counts as stashbusting, right?

It is pretty long, almost reaching to above-knee lenght.
