The local hardware stores sell the metal ones, and they have holes at an odd distance that I suspect is some absurd amount like one and a half inch or something, sometimes with two additional smaller holes in between.
Then there is the SKÅDIS line from IKEA, where the holes are at a decent and proper distance of 4 cm, but a) they are made of particleboard instead of metal b) I'd be afraid of getting stuck into an ikea-only standard
Are there other places that sell metric-based pegboards?

I don't know if you have access to a 3d printer, but for the skadis there are LOADS of free files to print to fit all of your needs, I've been waiting to pull that trigger myself, just because i need to organize the whole crafting room before putting something else in it

(and no, I can't use the time I use to handsew garments: that's usually the kind of time when it would be pretty unsafe for me to be around any kind of power tools, be it a drill or a sewing machine)
(and that's one of the reasons why handsewing is great: it fills that kind of time when want to do stuff, but aren't able to do anything that requires more than a modicum of concentration)

Stamattina stavo guardando @Diego Roversi che si vestiva a velocità da record e gli ho chiesto “ma poi cosa si fa, si accende l'aria condizionata in camera per 10 minuti per vestirsi? ma non credo che ne valga la pena”
la differenza è che i caloriferi sono ottimi per tenere una temperatura costante nel corso della giornata, l'aria condizionata per avere tanto caldo localizzato subito
è che di solito teniamo il termostato sui 16°C o 18.5°C a seconda dell'orario (la prima temperatura non viene raggiunta quasi mai, se non quando fuori fa molto freddo), e rispetto alla temperatura che c'è sotto il piumone pesante la differenza di prima mattina si sente :D
(poi in studio coi pc c'è sempre almeno un grado in più, che è dove serve perché si è fermi per lunghi periodi a lavorare)
I guanti senza dita per stare al PC sisi. La lana merino non credo di averla provata, pure del cashmere parlano bene. Credo qualche suggerimento me lo diete @Spazio Però il cappello, fateci caso, la testa è sempre calda, quindi perde molto calore.

After four days on and off of building ikea furniture (on the floor, of course), as I was walking up the stairs my legs had an union meeting and started to make demands.
I told them that I can't give them a pay rise, but I suggested a significant reduction in working hours (for the same pay, of course), and they haven't started a strike yet.
We are still negotiating about a warm shower.
Related, those cheap knee pads we bought almost on a whim a few months ago are starting to go quite high in the list of best way to spend 5-ish €
Dopo quattro giorni in cui ogni tot montavo un pezzo di mobile ikea, mentre salivo una rampa di scale le mie gambe hanno fatto un assemblea sindacale e iniziato ad avere richieste.
Ho detto loro che non posso dare un aumento di stipendio, ma ho proposito una riduzione significativa dell'orario di lavoro (a parità di stipendio, ovviamente), e non sono ancora in sciopero.
Sono aperti i negoziati per una doccia calda.
Correlato: le ginocchiere economiche comprate qualche mese fa senza troppo motivo stanno salendo nella graduatoria del modo migliore di spendere un cinque euro o giù di lì.
e quando son cose che uno fa di tanto in tanto non ci si pensa e non sente il bisogno di prenderle, ma cambiano il livello di comfort per queste cose in modo drastico!

@Carlo Ricchiardi aspetta però, il contenitore del paraspifferi è un salsicciotto ricavato da un pezzo di stoffa (che era un vecchio lenzuolo) cucito a cilindro, le calze le sto solo mettendo dentro come imbottitura
effettivamente a pensarci potevo anche cucire assieme un po' di gambe di calze e usare quelli anche per il contenitore, magari per il prossimo farò così.
(tanto poi finisce tutto dentro ad una seconda fodera separabile e lavabile, quello che c'è dentro non si vede)
@MaialeCosmico no, no, le lavastoviglie sono fatte apposta per pulire piatti e pentole *sporchi*, lavarli prima è uno spreco (e leggevo in giro che rischia pure di essere controproducente).
ovviamente se ci sono sopra pezzi grossi vengono tirati via con una forchetta o simili a secco.
@Carlo Ricchiardi lo davo un po' per scontato perché in questa casa gli scarti tessili (cose rotte e bucate, ma anche ritagli di stoffa troppo piccoli per essere usati in altro modo) finiscono sempre per essere usati come imbottitura per $COSE_VARIE.
