The cartridge pleated skirt I've been #sewing is finally at the stage where I can try it on (it's missing closures, but who cares about closures when you can use your hand?)

and my eyeballing of the length has been, let's say, optimistic

it's definitely floor length, and I can't walk on stairs without free hands.

on the other hand, it looks really nice as a floor length skirt

so, for the time being, I think it will stay this impractical length, what could possibly go wrong?

now I have a south facing covered balcony, and I'm getting ready to start a new test between the equinox and the solstice; at the beginning of February I'm going to buy stuff from a shop that also sells ink samplers, and my budget for buying those is almost gone, but if somebody has requests I can add a couple more to the cart

What I hate is this trend to write without capitalizing after full stops. like this. a full blog post. it hurts my brain. i can't read for long like this.

Qualcuno ha idea delle date in cui il regno d'Italia ha emesso dei passaporti per l'interno? internet non sta aiutando, sto trovando solo delle copie di passaporti in vendita, quasi tutte della prima metà del 1900, e mi stavo chiedendo se fossero già presenti nell'ottocento, subito dopo l'unificazione (ma ovviamente sia più facile trovarne in giro di più recenti), o se siano stati introdotti più tardi.

Così, mi stavo chiedendo, se un personaggio fittizio di Milano negli anni 50 fosse stato esule a Torino a causa di, diciamo, screzi con l'autorità austriaca, e in tale città si fosse accasato, quanto rognoso sarebbe stato per la sua famiglia (piccolissima borghesia, titolari di un negozio), una volta costruita la ferrovia e avvenuta l'unificazione andarlo a trovare di tanto in tanto?

(No, non sto scrivendo un libro. sto facendo worldbuilding per storie che non scriverò mai)

certo, chi mostra di saper superare il rituale con una panda 4x4 mostra di essere ancora più adatto alla riproduzione, ma quello è davvero difficile :D
