Learning about the upcoming git-history(1) command alone would have been worth this year #FOSDEM trip. It's heavily inspired by #Jujutsu UX and aims to implement in native #Git its most notable commands.
Tangentially related (to other parts of this email), there's already an implementatin of git absorb github.com/tummychow/git-absor… and it is a very useful feature indeed!
absolutely unsearchable! I had no idea it was a thing either before the talk. I suggest checking out the recording of the talk when available (main track, Jansen, the future of Git something something).
