The current plan is to enter this thing in a cosplay contest, and it also scratches the itch of sewing something truly ridiculous once a year.

in reply to Apiary • • •Almost done #sewing the hard part. Next is two curved stripes on either side. I’m a little sad that I’ve gotten to the sewing silk stage just in time for a heat wave. Since this stuff does not like sweaty hands at all.

in reply to Apiary • • •Very quick bead test. End product will have two silver lines and another gunmetal pip on the other side, so it looks like sparkly train tracks.
I’m going to go with a single strand of the silver, I think it’s enough to read as a rail.
