The Clacks under the ownership of Reacher Gilt is a tech company that drives out the competition, then ratchets up the profit margin at the user’s expense.

Seems a timely story…

Charles Dance plays Lord Vetinari in this and although he’s in lots of things these days, he does an especially good version of Vetinari.

I think Jeremy Irons is in one of the other adaptations, but Dance is better IMHO.

when I think of Vetinari, I imagine Dance.

Listening the the Pengiun Audiobooks, I imagine that the Teleseries is just as Canon as the books and that Moist is an unreliable narrator because he is a conman.

Not to mention that the Financiers behind the Clacks are running/stuck in one big Ponzi Scheme.

It is literally the same as the eponymous Tech Bubbles.
