Dear history bounders, please advice on where to get a lasting pair of black calf high leather boots with sheepwool or similar natural warming material inside?
It will have to last snow, ice and salt, so I guess, leather soles won't be appropriate. Wide calfs. EU or EEZ.

Kind of ugly but very durable and warm ones? Hiking gear stores. Sure, they'll be reasonably expensive (~200€ when not on sale) but be available for pretty much any type of weather and requirement.

Cute ones? Absolutely no clue, I had mine handmade and custom designed by a journeywoman shoemaker and paid almost 300€ for them! They've been very good, but lol.

For not winter stuff I really like JoBear, they are beautiful, well made (abovementioned shoeman said so) and not plastic. And they made for me extra wide ankle. But. Not only they don't have warm lining, but I... don't trust Latvian winters with mud, ice, salt, snowsalt and saltsnow to not not destroy their leather soles in a winter or two.

So far two most promising leads I've got is a local shop in capital (funily enough, its name translates to something like Finnish legwear) and this thing I didn't knew before duckfeet.com/collections/vejle
