One left us a couple of weeks ago but looking at pictures they both curled up clockwise 90% of the time!
Creme coloured cat with darker striped extremities is curled up clockwise in a basket.
Black cat curled up clockwise on my lap.

I can't vote (because friendica), and I don't even have a cat, but I can provide photographic documentation of NotMyCat who usually curl up clockwise

a curled up cat, left shoulder outside, face towards the right with the tail just below the face, half-looking at the stupid human who does things with a camera instead of letting him sleep in peace
