where to get english language tarot decks from that aren't (presumably) predatorily reprinted?
local bookshops seem to only work for german translated ones that also always come with a booklet (presumably for being able to sell them as "books"),
but what if i want a compact package of just cards but also want to have money end up in artists pockets? do i really have to bite the bullet and buy on etsy?

in reply to windwitch🍃tragus • •@windwitch🍃tragus I've just got a tarot deck by buying the graphics from the artist on itch.io (I think) and then having them printed from a print on demand service, but it was an extremely specific one, and I'm not sure it's the best way to do it in the general case.
(the same PoD service also allows artists to put their designs up for sale directly from their website. being PoD if you only get one deck most of the money will go to the PoD service, however)
