@Catherine RW @sewing group not sure if a nice idea or a dangerous thread that should be kept under lock and key and only consulted with extreme care to avoid any risk of overflowing stash :D
I'll start with my sources, all of them in the EU
favourite online shops:
* sartorbohemia.com/ linen and silks (also nice looking wools, but I haven't bought them yet), limited corsetry materials * extremtextil.de/ technical fabric for MYOG * neheleniapatterns.com/ specialist haberdashery for historical projects, some corsetry fabric
favourite local (north of lombardy, Italy) shops: a few that have no website, including a market stall with very high quality fabric (and high but still somewhat affordable in limited amounts prices)
last resort for relatively cheap cottons and the like:
* tessuti.com/ / fabfab GmbH (they have localized webshops around europe)
I used to buy corsetry fabric and haberdashery from the following two places in the UK, but I've stopped since brexit because it's too much of a hassle
hobbyperline.com/ for some specific haberdashery, including viscose soutache (which I had a hard time finding elsewhere, especially in any kind of choice of colour)
1. thefabricstoreonline.com/ Based in New Zealand they offer high quality Merino knit in a gazillion of colours. (That's why I buy there) But they also have several nice linens in the same colour range and quite often have nice Deadstock.
2. nekoneko.co/ Based in Singapore they sell mostly Japanese fabrics. You'll find all sorts of fun prints on all sorts of woven. They are often way cheaper than in EU. I'm mostly hunting Nani Iro there.
The Fabric Store Online stocks a huge range of merino wool, Liberty Art Fabrics, silks, linen, cotton and more! Free international express shipping on all orders over $200(NZD).
3. merchantandmills.com/ Based in the UK they offer great Oilskin (the waxed cotton stuff as in Barbour jackets) and a selection of japanese fabrics, denims and wools. All woven and non-stretch. Also scissors and a bit of haberdashery.
4. atelierbrunette.com/en/ French based and making a point in offering nice collections which are made to combine. All woven as far as I'm aware. They also offer matching buttons, bias binding and so forth.

Not sure about taking the group out of the mentions, that might be up to the group admin? (If it's not a bot).
