A ogni crisi energetica, di tipo "crisi umanitaria" (#Cuba, causa 'embargo + minacce #USA) e di tipo "economico" (da noi in occidente con il prezzo di gas e petrolio salito causa aggressione di USA e #Israele in #Iran), mi domando sempre:
*perché cavolo non siamo ancora pieni di pannelli fotovoltaici, dove si può?*
I prezzi sono più accessibili, le modalità di stoccaggio di surplus energetico esistono. Non dico per sostituire, ma almeno affiancare gli idrocarburi.

in reply to vanblessed • •@vanblessed aggiungerei: e la Spagna l'ha fatto, e non mi pare che abbia condizioni climatiche molto diverse dalle nostre, in generale, e adesso è il paese europeo che sta avendo meno problemi con il costo dell'energia
(un po' è aumentato anche da loro, i trasporti delle merci mi risulta siano ancora ad idrocarburi anche lì, non è che abbiano risolto Tutti I Problemi, però sono in una situazione migliore della nostra)

for those questioning, I only looked thru the post for linguistic... whatsitscalled, to clue in for context, to know that this post talks about an energy crisis, the petrol embargo by the US, and how it effects the economics of trade for Italians... and something about how accessible energy is important
it really is rather fascinating that just someone who took grade school Latin, and grade school Spanish, was able to glean all that, without running any of this trough a translation service.

Molto bene indeed! You got the main meaning of the post; Italian and Spanish being quite similar and both being romance languages definitely helped.
For all the others: during any fossil furl crisis I always wonder why we (as a whole actually, not only in Italy) don't have a vast amount of photovoltaic system installed wherever possible.
They are cheaper, and systems to store surplus production exist. Not to replace, but at least to use alongside hydrocarbons.
