I know that fediverse is, generally speaking, much less of a shitshow than other social media networks, but I'd still highly recommend you set auto-deleting messages. Mine are gone in a week.

If you have to keep secrets, the internet is the worst place you can try to do that.

Don't use biometrics to secure your mobile devices for the love of god.

@da_667 @Lysander il breve also, if you're using your fingerprint to lock your phone, you're using something that your phone is covered with, which is not exactly a good way to keep them a secret (assuming somebody has access to your phone with enough time to pull the fingerprints from it and generate a clone, which afaik can be done, but of course not in 30 seconds)
