Which would you prefer with the grey as a background combination for a wall hanging? Duck egg (left), seafoam (top) or teal (right)

@Law Geek the picture of 4 yarn balls from the OP, desaturated to show contrast: the grey is significantly darker than all other 3 yarns, but the teal has a bit less contrast than the other two.

I'd say any of them is fine, but maybe not the teal?

@valhalla yes, I think I'm going with the majority view that seafoam is best (although I do have enough duck egg in stash to change my mind).

I've seen that technique used on knitting podcasts! I actually used it to work out what to wear today to have a black & white photo taken for work!
