@Walter Tross @Schroedinger to be fair, even back in their heydays you didn't have much use for a slide rule to do Maths.

edit: while doing engineering. I'm sure that there exist some engineer somewhere who proved a theorem or ten in their spare time or something.

OK, I see what you mean. Maybe it's me, not being a native English speaker, who doesn't know the exact meaning of "doing maths" (or "math", in the USA)
