New nforced diet regime is sucky. No dairy (don't get me started on "vegan cheese") and nothing sbove 2g of saturated fat per 100g. Not quite at the "licking rocks" stage but the reality of trying to do this as someone who previously enjoyed food (not to excess, just enjoyed) is fecking miserable. Salutes to anyone going through similar for health reasons

Very best of luck, that sounds really awful. Hope you can figure out some dishes you enjoy that you can eat. I'm supposed to be on a low sat fat diet myself, but nothing like this. Sending you very best wishes.

@Giselle Thanks. Most of it is breaking habitual picking up stuff without checking - Frustratingly for me I don't drink nor smoke, and don't eat any meat so it's not like I've got that much left to cut out!

@Peejmaybe and now that I think about it, maybe rather than a virtual hug it would have been better to offer a virtual freshly baked durum wheat bread roll¹ just out of the oven (here it's dinner time), if you can still have those

¹ 800 g durum wheat flour, 480 g water, 3 g dry yeast, 11 g salt, makes 12 rolls
