#craft go this mini handcrank paper shredder. I made some recycled paper the other week, and it was really fun. I have paper from patterns or wrapping paper or packaging..
Can make lil postcards, or seed paper, or whatever. It's fun either way!

it is so good for me. Not my apartment. But it's great to do things with my hands

I've been getting into book binding because I couldn't find any watercolor journals that I liked and that were affordable. I really enjoyed it! It's this awesome combination of paper crafting, sewing, designing cover art, and then of course filling it with art too.
I'm very quickly finding how easy it is to move from one hobby to the next...

book binding looks SO sick hahahahaha. That temptation has existed for me for sure.
I do think that Making Stuff is a pretty good hobby. Good gifts, making your home feel your own etc.

@maize πŸŽΆπŸ’œπŸŒ» @zephyr and then you could do book binding with your own paper... :D

not that I would ever encourage anybody to pick up a new technique in their Making Things hobby (yes, I would :D )

@zephyr @maize πŸŽΆπŸ’œπŸŒ» recently I tried to make paper once, and it didn't work that well, but the problem is probably that I tried to do so starting in hard mode with fabric scraps rather than old paper, and my blender wasn't up to task.

Trying again is in my plans, one day.

lol, that's true! I already have a good chunk of the supplies. I really just an awl and maybe waxed thread, but I can get buy with other stuff for now. It does help when my hobbies can overlap for saving space.
