Sometimes a house is so weird it becomes overwhelming and you don't even know where to start. The fake palms? The exterior? The bed? The confusing glass room? That's not even the tip of the iceberg.

An indoor pool that is very long and narrow and round at the end, with fake palm trees along either side and a triangle banner hanging down of a woman diving into a pool.
The outside of a very disjointed house with a lot of glass blocks. There are parts that are curved and stick out, other parts with pointed roofs, and a porthole in the 2nd floor.
A bed that, for some reason, has ropes attached to the ceiling from all 4 corners of the bed, and there is a mirror above the bed as well. The bed actually has 4 legs underneath, but at first looks like it's hanging.
A room with 2 chairs that look like they belong in an office, a tiled floor, and what looks like a round stove heater. The room is otherwise empty and the wall is mirrored. There is frosted glass along one curved wall.

And why do all the rooms need fireplaces and some need two next to each other in the same corner?!?

This is my dream house what are you talking about. 🤣

Although I will say speaking from experience, fake palms make the pool much easier to maintain than real palms.

What is that thing protruding into the middle of the main living area? It seems to combine a wood burning stove, a tv, some speakers, Grecian columns and presumably more hidden from view.

@iskandarv also, that tv is surely not meant to be watched, as the, uh, fake fire-place(?) is blocking the view from those armchairs

This one was in the TV series "ugliest house in america" - the palm trees were already gone, but there's so much more. Guess it was season 3 of the show.

I also found out recently. That's why I can still remember the house well. The double fireplace also has a waterfall! And a toilet is outside on the unsecured balconies. It's a house to remember for sure 😉

My read on the swimming pool in this one is "I like to swim lengths outdoors but I hate insects, give me an insect-proof lap pool that feels outdoorsy plz", but the rest is mostly inexplicable.
