What is the ideal length of a video on a topic you enjoy? So not music, or ambient stuff.
I know that there are some people who I will click on a one hour or three hour video for... but if it's just based on "interesting topic" and a peek at how long it is what do you look for?
- Under 15 min. (33%, 32 votes)
- 15 min up to a half hour (44%, 43 votes)
- A half hour to 45 min (11%, 11 votes)
- The longer the better? (11%, 11 votes)

Often, in the mechanics field, I get very smart ideas (those "why have I never thought of this?") from 20 seconds videos by thang010146 rather than by little-house-on-the-praire length descriptions.
For example this one is just waiting to be applied:

my sweet spot is right between the first two options, between 10 and 20 minutes, and shorts-length (< 2 min?) is usually not really enough to enjoy it, but really, anything below 1 hour is fine, and stuff that is longer than 1 hour, but looks really interesting, may get split between more sessions, but still watched.
