As extension of mastodon.cisti.org/@GustavinoB… here is a poll.

  • Yes, but… (46%, 31 votes)
  • No, but… (6%, 4 votes)

Back in CompuServe days, I didn't have the space but those I knew from there were traveling the States and Canada. They stayed at my place for about 3 nights. So, mostly likely yes again.

Yes, but only mutuals with whom I have (positively) interacted for a while, and only if my partner is ok with it.
If I have just followed an account because they posted something I found funny or insightful, it's not an open invitation to stay at my place

I have not the space, but also I have 2 small kids and a disabled partner.
If I had time to be a proper host, I absolutely would.

@rag. Gustavino Bevilacqua @Evan Prodromou I follow too many accounts just because they seem to post vaguely interesting things, but for a selection of mutuals that I interact routinely with I definitely would!

that depends on how well I know the person and on their ability to follow my rules, that are basically two: don't move my things without telling me and don't ever for any reason open the window in my bedroom in the morning
