Son lived in the US for 18 months and would have killed for a sausage, Aussie style. They only have European style wurst, or franks. And side note: no meat pies! I MEAN, come on!
@Tom Roberts I suspect that voting in any other relatively democratic and stable-ish country is a far more fun and enjoyable event than voting in the US.
I mean, I wouldn't say that voting in Italy is *fun*, and we would need a lot of improvements on the voting system, but at least the act is usually quick and painless, and happens around the weekend (sometimes it's on Sunday, sometimes is on Sunday and Monday morning¹, sometimes Saturday and Sunday).
¹ IMHO the best option, since a lot of shops (that may be open on Sunday) are closed on Monday morning
