right now. the evening before.
at the time when my desire would be to curl up on the bed, under the duvet, I will instead have to face the darkness, the cold¹, and the wild, hungry beasts² to bring out the bins
¹ 2°C, according to the sensor. not *that* cold, if I didn't just get outside without bothering to wear warmer clothing than the ones I'm wearing inside, because it's just a couple of minutes, and the thermal underwear will keep me warm long enough (cue hands and nose freezing :D )
² notOurCat often sleeps nearby at this hour, and will definitely wake up when the door opens :D
