But other than that, ‘The Northern Hemisphere is Wrong’.

Whereas, we just get fires, raging, uncontrolled fires.

I previously kinda liked Daylight Saving, but increasingly I reject society's conceptualisation of time in general.

in reply to Dread Pirate (Tom) Roberts • •@Dread Pirate (Tom) Roberts no, no, on New Year's Eve here the weather is cold and crisp, excellent for wrapping yourself in a dramatic cloak (sharing it with another human, or at least another warm blooded mammal, is recommended but not mandatory) and get outside to watch the fireworks.
Much better than having it at a time when it's too hot and stuffy to stay outdoors even in the night, like we're having it these days.
