Hi! You got boosted onto my feed. Um... today I worked on my personal website, tried to figure out how to get a Covid vaccine, and answered some surveys online. Yesterday I had a medical appointment that went well, and I used AAC (a communication device) during it successfully. I also got a very exciting delivery of... a food bank box 🎉 It was like opening a present! I never quite know what they're going to give me.
My day was a bit tough. Desperately packed all my stuff with my family this morning, got to the airport, waited the customary two hours after getting through security, and am now on a nine hour flight with my cranky baby. It is a very long day. But it will eventually be over and I will survive and move on.
I'm sorry about your tough day! :( That does sound tough.
AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and the type I use is a feature/application on my computer or phone where I type and the computer speaks it aloud. It's helpful for many disabilities such as autism or ME/CFS (a fatigue disorder) - I have both.

I've just woken up, gone to see whether #notMyCat was near the door, he was on his chair, meowed at us through the window (it's funny how we can't hear him, but can clearly lip-read the meow) and then promptly teleported in front of the Door Out Of Which Food Comes.
And now I'm having my own breakfast, so I guess there will be some time before I can think of something entertaining
@RandomMusickMayhem I would like to sleep actually but there is a baby on me and she will slide off and land on the floor with a hideous thump if I do that.
