I'm feeling very accomplished and put together as I just properly cleaned my favourite mug and it's sparkling white on the inside for now. 🍵

Spiffy! My favourite mugs are optimistically named stainless steel.

As a little added horror, for those who cannot abide a mug that is not clean; while it was indeed fresh this morning, or perhaps yesterday, it usually goes longer between washes, AND is often not even dedicated to a single beverage.

I try to keep bouillon and instant soup separate from tea and coffee, but may not always succeed? 😂

Changing the glass for every drink feels wasteful, but going longer than a day feels like a slight health hazard, so I grab a fresh glass every morning. 😅

@Gulleko I change the water and cold drinks vessel much more often, but evidently putting near boiling water multiple times per day into a mug seems to clear it out of most horrible things... 😄

@Sini Tuulia I drink different hot beverages during the day, so usually the mug goes into the dishwasher after having been used once, or at most twice, because I don't like to mix the tastes.

They still remained tea-stained until somebody else in the house attacks them with the military-grade detergents, but I never bother with those :)

(exceptions include:

* in summer I often brew a liter or more of one herbal tea, that one of course gets poured in the same mug until it finishes;
* in the morning I tend to have a plain black tea and a herbal tea some time afterwards: often the herbal tea is done in the same mug as the black tea, because I don't mind that specific taste combination.
