Hey, what's your caffeinated beverage of choice receptacle looking like right now? When was the last time the mug or other was washed, not just rinsed?

in reply to Sini Tuulia • • •As a little added horror, for those who cannot abide a mug that is not clean; while it was indeed fresh this morning, or perhaps yesterday, it usually goes longer between washes, AND is often not even dedicated to a single beverage.
I try to keep bouillon and instant soup separate from tea and coffee, but may not always succeed? 😂

in reply to Sini Tuulia • •@Sini Tuulia I drink different hot beverages during the day, so usually the mug goes into the dishwasher after having been used once, or at most twice, because I don't like to mix the tastes.
They still remained tea-stained until somebody else in the house attacks them with the military-grade detergents, but I never bother with those :)
(exceptions include:
* in summer I often brew a liter or more of one herbal tea, that one of course gets poured in the same mug until it finishes;
* in the morning I tend to have a plain black tea and a herbal tea some time afterwards: often the herbal tea is done in the same mug as the black tea, because I don't mind that specific taste combination.
