Yes, same. But Linux phones are just a joke for hobbyists and tinkerers. You really wouldn't want to use them for anything real.
Graphene might be an option. I switched to an iPhone, but eh... well, that has it's own problems and I'm not entirely sure if it's better or just different pain (but at least Google is getting less of my data now).

what I wrote in 2023 is mostly still valid (the issue with the phone forgetting about the existence of a modem have been fixed)
