Middle child has constructed a wind-powered turbine out of LEGO. He’s trying to get it to work by dousing it in cooking oil for lubrication, and using the vacuum cleaner to test it.

The turnaround on the test-adjust-test cycle is about 5 minutes.

(Did I mention I’m currently trying to work from home?)

Update:

A skillful placement of a rubber band has allowed the LEGO contraption to achieve perpetual motion*.

*Not counting the vacuum cleaner.
