After a long conversation with a few of my volunteers about things you could easily buy 150 years ago that you can't buy now, this just turned up for sale: meg-andrews.com/item-details/D…

I'm not going to ask for the price, it'll be more than I can afford. I really wish somewhere would make this stuff nowadays though.

and yeah, I can easily find a fringeless tape made of some plastic wool substitute that sort of works fine to protect the hems of skirts, but I *want* this (of modern make) too!

@valhalla Yes! And sometimes I'm lucky and come across real wool trim. But I really want to be able to buy brush trim.
