Apologies to Pink Floyd for the slight lyric change, but that’s exactly how I feel today. I have some genuine, healthy envy for everyone gathering in Brussels this weekend!

Even though I can't be there in person, I’ll be there in spirit. Have an absolute blast, soak up the atmosphere, and learn everything you can. I am really looking forward to reading all your trip reports and blog posts in the coming days to catch up on what I missed.

you're not alone with that feeling: caught the flu pre FOSDEM, so spending the weekend home now (at least starting to feel better since yesterday)

@mainec the good news is that you’re feeling better! There will be more FOSDEMs in the future, but staying healthy is much more important. Take care of yourself!

@Stefano Marinelli no waffles here, but we have:

* sirop de Liège (arrived yesterday)
* belgian beer (from the Italian supermarket)
* a printout of the “this room is full” sheet
* confclerk complaining about conflicts
* a laptop in front of the couch, to watch the streamings

(yes, I'm going to miss the hallways. I'm trying to tell myself that we have fosdem at home, but I'm going to miss the hallways)
