I am a power tool lesbian. I will repeat this at regular intervals when dysphoria makes me want to sell all my power tools. Girls are allowed to be handy with tools. Hell, cishet girls with lipstick and skirts are allowed to be handy with tools. I am not one of them, but I will fight for their right to have a preference in tool manufacturers just like the rest of us.
Girls who like power tools are sexy, actually. We're not all professional computer touchers (though there's nothing wrong with that either).
Nonbinary femmes, you're allowed to use power tools too, obviously. It doesn't make anyone any less femme to be handy with tools.
And get your damn minds out of the gutter, degenerates. Or don't. I'm not your mother. I'm a power tool lesbian.

in reply to Gwen the Trans Balrog • • •Oh yeah, I just don't do much heavy stuff. Bicycle mechanics don't have a lot of call for heavy-duty power tools, and I do relatively little carpentry & construction-type stuff. XD
Was thinking about this more last night and several of the people who taught/mentored me when I was first getting into bike repair were women too. I got pretty lucky in that regard.

I've never considered it, but that's mostly because I'm lazy. Plus I like the look of DeWalt tools.
Yes, I'm that basic DeWalt bitch your parents warned you about.
