Still got that very weird user agent randomization feature in it, the one that is indistinguishable from block evasion?

Edit: Looks like no, I am seeing actual Mona user agents in my server logs now:

"Mona/53462 CFNetwork/3860.200.71 Darwin/25.1.0"

@jonny_kuang Finally, I am seeing actual Mona user agents in my server logs, and plausible CFNetwork and Darwin versions to go with them. Nice.

@futzle I’ve moved to Toot! Miss some of the Mona features but I took this opportunity to move. Don’t want to pay for the new version of Mona if it’s still doing odd things and Toot! supports iOS 26’s design.

@lordsplodge Looks like Mona is reporting non-randomized user agents now, so they've apparently removed that admin-unfriendly feature.

@futzle Ahh cool. Might consider Mona 7 then. Going to stick with Toot! for a while. It’s missing “load replies from remote server” a Mona feature I used a fair bit.

@lordsplodge AIUI Mastodon 4.5 has the “fetch entire conversation” feature built in, so there may be less of a need for special client support.

Thank you :-) Just installed the update and I love it. Thank you also for the Mona Ultra One-Time Purchase for users who had purchased Mona Pro Max. I hate subscriptions *and* I understand that developers have to earn their living, so I really appreciate this option.
