Episode 3: Textile production and a nostalgic past https://fossandcrafts.org/episodes/3-textile-production-and-a-nostalgic-past.html

@mlemweb walks us through how traditional textile production works, from sheep to sweater!

Plus hear how narratives of spining/knitting/etc have been used to advance political agendas through history!

there is no transcript, right?

(I know that doing transcripts is a huge work, so I'm not expecting anything, just asking in case there is one)
Sorry, there is no transcript. There is a dissertation that covers some of this and will eventually be published though.
The show is CC BY-SA and unfortunately both of us are very busy... but we would *love* help with getting a transcript up on the show. If a volunteer wants to help us by either transcribing manually or writing a script that even does a reasonable-approximation transcription of episodes, we'd be happy to use and publish that!

I'm looking forwards to reading it! (I suspect it even covers the parts that interest me most :) )

Thanks! We were kinda talking around an issue there ;)
